Social Media/Marketing Portfolio
Welcome to my Social Media/Marketing portfolio. This portfolio showcases marketing materials, newsletters, social media posts, and more.
University Funding Board - A Day in the Life of a UFB member
I am a former member of the University Funding Board (UFB) at the University of Cincinnati. UFB allocates a portion of the general fee money to eligible Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) that promote interaction and awareness through on and off-campus events that serve to directly benefit the entire student body. I'm grateful for the opportunity to become one of the social media managers for UFB. In my role, I'm essentially responsible for engaging with registered student organizations and clubs on the University of Cincinnati campus and on Instagram. For example, I've reposted other events that student organizations are hosting on campus, have contacted student organizations about promoting their events and ours, and have been responsible for maintaining activity on our Instagram page. For this post, I went through the day in the life of a UFB member, AKA me. I created the video on the busiest day of my week, Wednesday.
University Funding Board - UFB Budget Workshop
I want to emphasize that I did NOT create the flyer. That credit goes to Sonny Tran, another UFB cohort member. Though I did create the caption and handled some of the marketing for this UFB Budget Workshop, and I also created the caption and description for this post. I privately contacted ten student organizations to help promote our event on their social media.
University of Cincinnati Blue Ash - SOL Spotlight
In the past, I was a Student Orientation Leader for the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash. In the summer, UCBA tried something new called the SOL Spotlight. As SOLS came together to welcome new students and to introduce them and their families to UC Blue Ash, the UCBA marketing team asked a friend and me to participate in this series. The video series is meant to introduce the SOLS behind orientation, and to learn a bit more about them.
University of Cincinnati Blue Ash Media and Communications - Halloween Hot Take
Though I had no part in recording or editing this lovely video, rumor has it that I appear as a commentator during this Halloween Hot Take series. I included this video because I helped the media and communications department at UCBA market their Halloween Hot Take video as someone who commentates for a small portion.
University of Cincinnati Blue Ash Student Life and Success - Autumn Brew Bar
What can I say, there was free hot chocolate and coffee. Next to me is my friend Milana, who worked with me in the UCBA Admissions department. They asked me if I wanted to take a picture, and I said sure. Afterward, I saw myself on the first slide of their Autumn Brew Bar marketing post on Instagram.
Tau Kappa Epsilon - Halloween Show
Who is the guy in the glasses? Yes, that's me! I'm rushing the Lambda-Gamma chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon, where I participated in my first-ever philanthropy event: our house show. TKE'S philanthropy is St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. When the semester began, I wanted to try out Greek life. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I absolutely loved Tau Kappa Epsilon and their Instagram page. After attending all their rush events and feeling at home, I knew TKE would be my forever home. This picture of me will forever be one of my personal favorites.
University of Cincinnati - Day In The Life
In this post, I took on an additional project in Spring 2026 in record a Day In The Life video during my Technical Writing Co-Op at CareStar. Since I'm enrolled in the English Co-Op Subplan as part of my degree, I had the opportunity to record this video. As an additional bonus fact, the official @UofCincy page got tagged on this post, since @hireuc posted me on their page!
University of Cincinnati Blue Ash - Student Ambassador Appearences
As an added bonus, I have appeared several times on the UCBA Student Ambassadors' Instagram. For some of them, you may have to scroll through a few slides to see my appearance. My appearances and collaborations with the UCBA Student Ambassadors showcase my interpersonal skills in that I can get along with many people, and that I'm willing to work with everyone on a given team, even if I'm not affiliated with being a UCBA Ambassador; I consider myself to be strongly connected with the majority of them, if not all of them.
University of Cincinnati Blue Ash - Career Services Portion of Thursday Newsletter
Throughout my time as a Peer Career Coach at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash, I not only coached many students on resume formatting and guidelines but also contributed to seven of the Thursday Newsletters for UCBA. The seven images above showcase my phenomenal writing skills for the newsletter. To clarify, the Thursday Newsletter is a newsletter that every UCBA student gets every Thursday. For the Career Services portion of the Thursday Newsletter, I was responsible for writing half of the newsletter. These showcase my awareness of best professional practices for resumes, such as the newsletter above that discusses three common resume mistakes, and the marketing and promotion of the UCBA Career Expo, which I helped set up and participated in as a student. I absolutely loved my experience as a Peer Career Coach, and I'm so glad that the UCBA Career Services team allowed me to leverage my skills as an English major towards these newsletters. You may also find the style guide that I created for these newsletters in my Technical and Professional Writing portfolio.
